Sweet-smelling, fresh honey nose. Mouthfeel is chewy-soft, milky, creamy and syrupy. Honey sweetness surfaces here and there, nicely complemented by a mild hop bitterness. Carbonation is soft up front, but becomes crisper toward the end of the sip. Finish is bitter and dryish with a bread-like, honey aroma. Great honey flavors, but a little boring otherwise. Overall decent. Original 3.5 Very refreshing. Sweet aroma of honey comes through after settling. Cloudy orange appearance, slight, white head with little lacing. Flavor is sweet with a detection of citrus hoppiness in the background. Overall, a good summer refersher. hoorayforbeer (105), Denton, Texas, USA

Somewhat bland taste, but at least the honey sweetness isn't overwhelming. Ernest (4501), Boulder, Colorado, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jan 13, 2003 Updated: Jan 3, 2005Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is light amber. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain, cookie), lightly hoppy (flowers), lightly yeasty (dough), with a hint of honey. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Thought I’d give this one last review considering this will no longer be brewed. Not much honey character, raw doughy (vit. B) yeast aroma gets stronger as it warms, not much flavor...I can see why they discontinued this one. AustinMilbarge (681), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 25, 2002 Mostly diminishing head. Darker, honey-golden color. Mild carbonation. Honey aroma. Good drinkability due to honey content. jskendzel (602), Washington DC, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 22, 2002 Good head, nice tawny yellow color. Honey aroma apparent. Honey lightens the body while providing a good background of flavor. Gunshy (479), Ohio, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 24, 2002 This beer poured a medium gold color and formed a nice white head and formed some lace. The aroma was of hops, citrus and honey with some floral elements. The flavor was of honey, some hops and a breadlike aspect to it. The finish was a tough astrigent and had some of the bread elements present.

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Nov 21, 2002 Huge white fluffy head. Highly carbonated. Honey in color with a slight honey/fruity aroma. The honey flavor does not "sting" me. Wheaty finish. Not too bad, not too good.
