Jun 28, 2003 Very refreshing "hot weather" beer. Very subtle taste of honey with some citrus notes makes it really good. Not a complex beer, but still quite good.

Jun 20, 2004 Orange Copper colored, smallish white head. Honeyish, orange blossom aroma. Orange Marmalade flavorVery little bitterness, although a hint of piney hop at the finish. Surprisingly not bad.

Aug 17, 2002 Has to be one of the best honey beers I’ve had. Not strong, not sweet, nice and smooth. Great on a hot summer’s day.

Apr 30, 2005 Golden color with n ohead. Aroma of very raw and dry honey, like long empty honeycombs. More of the same in the taste with a mustiness over it. I thought this was quite nice; a shame it’s retired.

Sep 19, 2002 This has aged well for about 4 years. Absolutely delicious cakey aroma. Good mouthfeel with distinct honey on the upper palate and oddly bitter finish. Sweet golden ale with a slightly floral aspect -- maybe it’s just the notion of bees. I really liked this.

Apr 11, 2005 Cloudy bright golden pour. Honeycomb yeast aroma. Flavor adds strawberry, lingonberry, and something more to flesh out a touch astringent yet sweet. Palate a bit watery, finishing clean with chamomile and clover honey nose. Sad to see that this is retired--I bought the last sixer at Zipps and I would have bought it again.
