Aroma of yeast, spice (coriander?), and pine tar. Tastes like biscuit dough (lots of that yeast strain) with a twist of spice at the end. Drying finish, mildly strong carbonation. malrubius (1005), Valley Stream, New York, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 6, 2009 12 ounce bottle in Grimbergen goblet (first time using this glass). Golden with quickly dissipating dense white head (could be the glass) and nice lace. Lemon pastry with yeasty spicy grassy aroma. Sweet lemony bready with medium fresh hop bitter dry finish. Nice soft mouthfeel and nice, lively carbonation. What can I say? I’m still a sucker for Belgian IPA. Delicious. DJMonarch (6941), Northwich, Cheshire, England

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 5, 2009 Bottle. Pours hazy corn gold, white head. Aroma is spicy, musty and funky. Flavor is spicy, white grapes, and hoppy. I rather like the tangy (not sweet at all) somewhat sour bite of the white grapes. I’m supposing that must be due to the type of hops? This is a unique beer and is pretty darn bitter and smooth.

Scent of leather, centennial hops, fruit, and decay, visuals are a brilliant golden body with a long lasting white head, taste is begian sweetness, bananas, and biscuits, with IPA citrus, bitterness, and presence. Palate is drying, active carbonation, and creamy. Overall, a very good beer. I hope it’s regularly available, because I’d like to have it all the time. Braudog (3779), Dayton, Ohio, USA
