Commercial Description:
We toned down the hops a bit to allow cocoa nibs to contribute some pleasing bitterness, while vanilla notes from the oak combine with the cocoa to create an aroma and flavor akin to a gourmet chocolate bar. A dash of cayenne keeps things lively, adding just a bit of heat to the finish. A Yeti for summer? Hell yes.

It poured a pitch black liquid with a medium sized dark brown foam. It had a smell of chocolate, hops and coffey. Tasted of chokolate, oak, wood, smoke. It had a stingy mouthfeel. Complex. Very nice.

22oz bottle opened by DuffManSW. Rating #186. Dark black pour with a decent brown head. Nice light chocolate aroma, a little woody and overall very fragrant. Flavor was more chocolate, roasty and a little bitterness, another really good Yeti, not a bad one at all. 񡹶)

22 oz. bottle from Plaza Liquors - Pours a dark brown color with a finger and a half thick tan head. Nice layered lacing. Aroma is light cocoa and herbal hops. Flavor is chocolate, roasted malt, and light oak and vanilla. Finish is slightly dry and roasty. Medium to full body. A very nice beer.

Nice chocolate and roast aroma, with a touch of cream in the back end. Pours an opaque black, with a thick dark tan head. The flavor is vanilla and cocoa, with a touch of alcohol burn. Thick and oily on the palate, don’t know if I’d be going towards this in the summer, but quite tasty on an autumn evening.

Black with a dark tan head. Aroma is dark chocolate and malt. Flavor is very strong dark chocolate with a little spiciness in the finish. Alcohol presence is strong and warming. Pleasant, but to be honest I prefer the non-chocolate Yeti.

This is impressive stuff. Pours balck with a huge, brown head that is retained. Aromas of chocolate, wood, vanilla, chalk, and alcohol. Flavors follow the aromas with copious cocoa, oak, dark chocolate, coffee.Finishes with a dash of chile heat. This is really yummy!

Poured from a 22 oz. Bomb. Brown black hue with thick mocha top. Aromas of bitter cocoa, vanilla, and booze. Super smooth in your mouth. Complex flavors of oak, chocolate, malt. Finish is bitter with chile spice. Great beer.

Bottled. A pitch black with a brown head. The aroma is powerful with notes of alcohol, chocolate, wood, and cocoa. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, leading to a very roasted finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.
