almost black pour with a frothy tan head and a ladder of lacing.
definite sour cocoa thing going on in the nose... along with cream, light ash, roast, vanilla, wood and savory yeast.
sweet creamy chocolate flavor finishes with a slight sour twinge (from the bottle especially) and a touch of salt. otherwise, the flavor matches the aroma.
soft, creamy and rich with a medium to full body. though from the tap it is strangely easy to drink (quickly).
the bottled version is quite a bit thinner and weaker than the draft... 7/5/7/4/15/3.8 kiefdog (1602), Tampa, Florida, USA
