Commercial Description:
We toned down the hops a bit to allow cocoa nibs to contribute some pleasing bitterness, while vanilla notes from the oak combine with the cocoa to create an aroma and flavor akin to a gourmet chocolate bar. A dash of cayenne keeps things lively, adding just a bit of heat to the finish. A Yeti for summer? Hell yes.

Bottled. A pitch black with a brown head. The aroma is powerful with notes of alcohol, chocolate, wood, and cocoa. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of roasted malt, chocolate, vanilla, leading to a very roasted finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of bu11zeye. Pours an opaque black with a light brown head. Aroma of a little oak and chocolate. Medium body, distinct cocoa and hard roasted malts and a strange cardboard edge. Also a weird chili burn in the finish. Only a light malt bitterness. Not really a great Yeti. 220909

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Very black, small beige head. Chocolaty tarry nose. Fairly sweet with full body. Tarry chocolate cake with salt and whisky. Dense and concentrated. Resiny bitterness that grows, grows and grows getting inky with some chili heat. More gimmicky than balanced, but still tasty.
