| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 17/20 | Jan 14, 2009 This is a malt forward, more English style pale with an assertive hop presence. A very pine like resin flavor seems to dominate through the aroma, but biscuit, caramel and slight toffee flavors fight through upon tasting. Sight fruity, plum like esters finish complement throughout. Clean, creamy finish with light citrus hops. topherh (940), Kearney, Missouri, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 7, 2009 Sweet, golden honey pour. Straightforward hoppy and malty pale ale. Not too bad, I definitely enjoyed the half hour I had to wait while the ridiculous head subsided. I swear I ladled 15 oz of foam out of that glass. More and grosser foam than Duvel. Try it when you have a free afternoon. smith4498 (919), Miami, Florida, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 13, 2008 Pours slightly hazy, light orange-amber into the glass, with a decent head that leaves froth down the glass. The nose is of biscuits, copper and malt. The flavors have crystal malt, some biscuit and tea notes, malt, and a slight metallic twinge. The finish is of English bitters, continuing with the metallic note. Not extremely complex, but a decent session brew. Nuff said....
