DPA has risen to become one of the most award-winning English-style pale ales in the world. Bottle. Pours a cloudy darker honey color. Huge white head. Some lacing. Hoppy aroma. Nice earthy feel. Plenty of bitterness. Nice malty flavor. I’m more of an IPA fan, however this may be one of the better PA’s I’ve had. Very impressed with the flavor and the crispness. I got this as part of a variety pack, but may have to look for a whole six-pack. Very satisfying beer.

Clearish amber color with a semi-thick white head. Smells like an APA and the flavor is of a very tasty hop ingredient. It’s not as bitter as some, but not weak either.

When it comes to pale ales i tend to lean more toward apa’s and ipa’s. That said this is the best English Pale Ale that I’ve came across. Malty upfrontt with mellow hoppy finish.

Pours a very light apple juice golden with a consistent head. Aroma is of some yeast, apples, and hop resin. Light, watery mouthfeel. Taste is of simple bready dry malt with a bittering finish. At 5.4% this is a good session. Simple but pleasing – and it deserves a higher rating.

Orange amber color. Thick white frothy head. Sugary and flowery hop aroma. Slightly malty taste. Kinda thin mouthfeel. Flowery and piny tastes combine. Taste well-balanced over all.

My DPA was very carbonated, pours golden amber with a bubbly white head. Floral hops with a malt backbone. The malt kicks in with the hops being noticeably present as it goes down smooth.
