It pours a watery, fizzy golden-yellow with a thin foam. It is thin to medium. It tastes a bit grassy but with a nice balance of hops and malt. esjaygee (1581), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 17, 2008 love the aroma of this beer. A great mix of hops and roasted malt. Smells of caramel dominate with notes of pine, herbs and dough. Head is fizzy and mostly diminishing and the color is a red/brown. The flavor was a disapointing one dimensionally bitter. I expected sweetness but there really was none. The palate was light to medium and dry, and the carbonation was fizzy. While a very good drinking beer, the flavor could have been a little more complex
