| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 28, 2008 The first thing about this beer is the tremendous head. I’ve had several bottles and each one gave a tall, thick, creamy head that slowly reduced, but never went away. It left great lacing on the glass. The beer poried a lightly hazy orange/amber color. There was a good amount of carbonation bubbles rising in the glass. Even with the thick head there was a nice grassy malt and hop aroma. The initial taste was of a crisp clean mild bite. The flavor rolled into a mild bitterness that grew slightly stronger on the palate. There is just a little sense of sweetness, but mostly a hoppy bite that lingers. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 27, 2008 12 ounce bottle in pint glass. Clear copper with ridiculous head that stood inches above the glass and lasted to the finish. Aroma of hop pellets and a little band-aid. Very dry bitter flavor with only a hint of sweet and fruitiness. Spicy bitter lingering finish. Not particularly well-balanced. An acceptable pale ale. I wouldn’t turn it down, but I wouldn’t order it or buy it again either. Chapel (330), Levittown, New York, USA

Creamy palate and bitter taste of grape. Lacks some malty background to settle the hops on. Nothing compared to the brewery’s IPA and IIPA.

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 17, 2008 12 oz. pours with perfect thick head and nice hazy, shimmering deep body. Aroma is heavily of honey, enticing, but could be stronger. Flavor is grassy with pine and light, low acid citrus. Palate is very wet with great carbonation and a satisfying mouthfeel. Overall, thoroughly enjoyable and only slightly lacking in flavor.
