Jan 9, 2008 12 oz. bottle pours a clear rusty orange hue. A massive, fake looking off white head leaves an awesome lace. Has a spicy, black pepper caramel smell. Medium bodied with way too much carbonation. Mildly sweet caramel taste with a raw hop bitterness to finish.

Jan 8, 2008 Bottle from Vinens Verden, Odense. Pours a nice amber colour. Aroma of hops, some fruits and malt. The flavour is a bit sweet and fruity with malt, some citrus, caramel and flowers. Dry fruitish malty finish.

Jan 7, 2008 Bottle, bought @ Ølkonsortiet, Aalborg. Pours a deep golden with a big creamy-ish white head. Aroma is mildly sweet hoppy. Some caramel and slight fruity hops. Lively mouthfeel. Flavour has a nice hoppyness, slight pale-ish malty sweetness behind it. Not that terribly dry. A very competent brew, but a little underwhelming.

Jan 6, 2008 Nice clean taste, what I would expect from a pale ale from Great Divide. Couldnt really smell much, but the taste is all that matters. Nice hoppy finish!

Jan 5, 2008 Light copper beer with a a lasting white head. Hops dominate the aroma, with citrus and floral and fruity notes, with a bit of bisquit and other malt notes. Semi-sweet flavour with pretty high bitterness, and a lasting hoppy aftertaste. I’d say it falls somewhere between the British and American pale ale in style.

Dec 30, 2007 A brown copper colored ale with hoppiness that is not overpowering. This is no better or worse than pale ales I can get in New England, so I won’t go out of my way to find it - nor will I turn it down.

Dec 30, 2007 Picked up 12-oz bottle from Cellar’s Wine & Spirits in St Paul, MN. Pours a clear copper amber brew with a thick and creamy off-white head that has some good retention and lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, some fruity character of apricots, and citrus. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonation with flavors of caramel malt, some citrus/pine hops with some dry spice in the background. Finish is slightly dry with a citrus and lingering bitterness after the finish.
