Sweet, malty nose. Good body, with a slightly metallic taste up front. Finishes with a bit of a hop bite, certainly more of an American style hop level than one might expect from the archetype British ales. A nice session ale. Skeegle (499), Maryland, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 19, 2007 A nice light pale ale. Pours a red tan. A small taste of soap but not enough to turn one off. The head is very white and diminishes quickly. A small bite, not too hoppy, a good malt body to it. Caramel a small bit. NachlamSie (1647), Tennessee, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 6, 2007 Bottle. Pours a pretty standard pale ale color with a decent head. The nose is a bit hoppy with some suggestions of citrus, paper, and husks. This was all right. The hoppiness is reasonable and the flavor profile is clean enough. The malts are borderline American tasting with some straightfoward caramel, but the crisp, woody hop profile is rather European. Not a bad brew. pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA

Sweet fruity, slightly soapy hops smell. Clear amber with okay head. Nice flavor and good on the palate. A bit soapy in the taste too. Easy to drink but not amazing. wickedpete (629), Lexington Park, Maryland, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 3, 2007 Great looking pale ale with a tall head and nice lacing. Hoppy aroma and bitter flavor rounded out with a citrus sweetness. Not as much body in the finish as I would like but overall very nice. Miksu (2231), Jyväskylä, Finland

Sweetish, orangey, malty and honeyish flavor with biscuity finish. Fairly low bitterness and soft carbonation. gotohelunc (476), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 30, 2007 Bottle. Orange/copper color, nice long lasting, small head. A bit of sweetness upfront leads into a really nice bitter, hoppy flavor and leaves the mouth feeling like it just had a stronger IPA. Really tasty session PA, if not the most memorable or remarkable beer out there. JLAudio (282), Crestwood, Illinois, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 28, 2007 Typical pale ale, with a lighter body, slight malty sweetness and dryness, with a mild hop assertiveness. It was crisp, clean, and finished quick. Very drinkable, but nothing stands out to me.
