| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 19, 2007 I’ve enjoyed many of these over the years--and am enjoying one currently as well.
Pours a slightly hazy copper-brown in color. Frothy white head that never quite recedes. Nose is ery mild and leans towards the malts with just some slight spruce.
Flavor is straight forward and simple. Not complex in the least--and that’s not a bad thing. Great beer for those nights when I don’t want to be inundated with crazy amount of hops, malts or unique flavors. I am even picking out some wood-like tannins. Medium body that I find tends to improve or regress depending on the age of the beer. asedzie (456), San Francisco, California, USA

Sweet berry and apricot aroma, also some oranges and pears. Slightly sweet, molasses malt flavor. Lightly bitter with citrusy and peppery hops. Full and creamy mouthfeel. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 16, 2007 Picked this up from a modest craft beer retailer in North East, MD. Deep amber pour with a two finger light tan head and thin lacing. Earthy aroma with a mild piney note. Classic English Pale with assertive toasted malt, caramel and light citrus. Malt/hops balance mostly in line but leaning towards the earthy malts every now and then. Satisfyingly silky mouthfeel that was at times a little thin but in a refreshing way. nearbeer (1862), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 15, 2007 Bottled 2nd week of June (07, I assume). Golden-burnt orange with a large and lasting head. Aroma is grapefruit and orange blossom honey. Nut-honey malt on the front end that is bittered and spiced nicely by the hops. Finishes with delicately bitter herb and grassy-grapefruit hops. Palate is smoothish, low on carbonation tingle and light-medium bodied. All-in-all, a nice bitter. CheersMate1 (812), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 14, 2007 A decent fruity and hoppy smell to it. Seeing the rating I must remained unbiased. The hops are nice though. Very unimpressive caramel color. The color is plain. The hops are weak and at the beginning of my tasting they felt as though they would hit my tastebuds, but they died very quickly. The fruity smell is not matched by a fruity flavor. The beer is thin and the flavor just goes away as soon as i taste it. TheBeerOrg (1586), Kentucky, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 11, 2007 Pours dark orange with a thin, mostly receding wispy tan head. Aroma of earthy citrus, doughy, crystal malts, and refreshing acidity. Taste is lightly sweet, slightly resinous and hoppy with caramel and citrus hoppiness. Mouthfeel is medium and lightly resinous with lively carbonation. TheCEO (100), USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 10, 2007 Oh it dishes out an aroma...but it’s not a pleasant one...an average Pale Ale...nowhere near Titan’s quality...it’ll hit the spot, but now I know firsthand why this is considered a low end product of Great Divide...they’re so good at brewing even their "swill" is very drinkable....which IS impressive in its own right. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 6, 2007 I didn’t get a lot out of the aroma on this one. Looked good - nice deap copper color with a satisfactory head. Left nice lacing. Slight hop bitterness. Overall a decent beer.
