Looked good - nice deap copper color with a satisfactory head. Left nice lacing. Slight hop bitterness. Overall a decent beer. obguthr (1072), Poquoson, Virginia, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jul 1, 2007 Apple juice color, very cloudy with floating sediments. Aroma is orange, lemon, and feet. Grapefruit and lemon peel taste, but more of the latter. Alcohol is poorly concealed at the end.
After suspecting I got an old or bad batch, I checked the date and discovered it is 4 years old. When fresh, this beer is probably much better than the one I just had. YMMV scottyw (46), Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 1, 2007 Another great one from Great Divide. Just a reasonable pale ale that is easy going, and has the ability to be mass-consumed. bigred024 (26), South Carolina, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 1, 2007 taste is a little malty and slightly bitter, but very crisp. not that bad of a pale ale, but not close to being a top quality one either. Beerlando (2353), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 29, 2007 Dark gold color with a small off-white head and good lacing. Light carbonation. Aroma is malty and grassy, but not strong. Flavor is malty, with grassy and floral hops. Slight bitter finish and aftertaste.. On the watery side of medium bodied. Decent beer, but nowhere near the pinnacle of what Great Divide has to offer. ekstedt (2456), Göteborg, Sweden
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 29, 2007 Bottle at the Rover, Göteborg, Sweden. Reddish amber in colour, medium off-white head. Fruity, earthy and slightly roasted malt aroma, spicy and floral hops. Medium bodied, a bit prickly Co2. Starts a bit sticky sweet, bitter but short finish. slimchill (783), Austin, Texas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jun 26, 2007 Bottle. Nose is sweet and hoppy, really nice. Aroma is like pure orange juice. A bit cloudy for a plae ale, deep brown-orange. SImple hop flavor with strong bite up front into a strange dry finish. It’s a nice balance but lacks in flavor complexity. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jun 25, 2007 Pure orange juice aroma. Hop oils all over the nose. Really spectacular nose. Cloudy brown color. Medium-light body. Hoppy taste, mild malt backbone, somewhat bready/grainy. Finishes with grains and hops and pepper(?). Not your average pale ale.
