Bottled. Pint. There is a soft and fleeting lightly tan head on the pour. Very light amber/golden appearance with slight effervescence. Scent is overpoweringly hopped. The flavor, however, is light, bitter subtle maltiness. The mouthfeel is a little watery. Finish is bright and just a tiny bit citrusy. Decent.

12oz bottle (thanks to shigadeyo) poured a clear copper color with a small white head. Aroma of grassy english hops and maybe some oxidation. Taste was pritty fruity with a good amount of caramel maltiness. Just an ok beer.

Denver Pale Ale? Well, it did make me feel a bit like John F’n Elway, and that’s not a good thing, or is it? Tasted like a hazy schwag (yes, THAT kind of schwag) which was nice but not really what I expected out of this. Then again, I didn’t know quite what to expect out of a Denver pale ale. I wouldn’t recommend it, try Great Divide’s Hercules and you won’t be disappointed, or for regular pale ales, Summit Extra Pale Ale or Three Floyd’s Alpha King should do you about right.

Sample at the brewery. Light orange color. Smells and tastes of grassy hops. Sweet malt present in the flavor but the grassy aftertaste seems to dominate and detract from this beer. Maybe my expectations were too high.

Bottle. Huge head gushes up in glass. Golden color. Spicy hop aroma. Spicy citrusy, somewhat piney hop bite. Okay malt flavor. Decent pale.
