Flavor is malty at the forefront with a finish that has a moderate hop touch. Illini08 (528), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA

It reminds me more of a wheat beer than a pale ale though. Pours a light honey color with a big fluffy head (similar to a wheat beer) and TONS of carbonation shooting up the side of my glass. Some citrusy hops in the nose, but the main smell I can discern is more estery and fruity, like a wheat beer. Taste is similar, with a slightly spicy and hoppy finish, but the main flavor is very sweet. As it warms up some, theres more of a maltly/yeasty flavor coming through. This wasn’t a bad beer by any means, but it isnt what I would expect from a pale ale and it’s not something that I would want to drink often. barleyPops (1081), Quad-Cities, Illinois, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 15, 2006 Poured a translucent amber with a thick, creamy, long lived head. Smelled of hops. Ctirus smell, fairly sweet for hops. Immediately tasted citrus which gave way to milder hop and malt flavor. Probably my favorite pale ale to date. Very solid, well balanced. They were dinosaurs! However one dinosaur in particular was certain that he had tasted the sweet nectar of a magnificant ale. he was Denver the last dinosaur and he had a popular television cartoon show based on his wacky adventures as the pet and loyal companion of a small crew of ten year olds who were not afraid to allow Denver to just be himself, whether he be expressing it through zany haiwaiin shirts or wearing sunglasses at night. asteele8 (270), Mukilteo, Washington, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 9, 2006 Bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a white head on top. Aroma is slight hops and malts. Flavor is slightly hoppy with a citrusy taste coming through. Malts come in, mostly caramel, into the flavor. A very toned down drink, neither hoppy nor malty. Definitely not a drain pour, but something I will probably not buy more of in the future. Wild4mild (37), USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 5, 2006 Bottle. Extreme carbonation. I poured half the beer and had a three inch head that looked like whipped egg whites. Very hoppy nose. Nice balance between the malt and hops. I think I detect a touch of caramel in the finish that keeps it interesting. Very nice. milewide (625), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA
