Thin head, not much lacing, nice copper color. Strong citrus note from the hops. Very bitter. The flavor and aroma crawl up your nose even after you put down the glass. The taste lingered to tease me again later in the day. I enjoyed every sip of this beer. Made my layover at the Denver airport that much better.

Visited the brewery in Denver and had a great time with Bernie, one of the brewers. Nothing like a great friendly brewery! This was dark amber with a beautiful head. Nicely hopped and lightly malty for a good balance. Good American Pale.

A very complex Pale Ale. Has the right amount of bitterness and has very interesting aftertastes with hints of this and that. Liked this one! The Brewery is cool too.

Pours a brilliantly clear full copper color, it is topped by a light amber tan head with a fairly low level of carbonation. The aroma is sweet with caramel malts and hopily spiced with notes of tangerine, apricot, and oranges, and a nice fruity flower nectar type thing. The taste is quite well balanced. This beer is not quite sweet yet quite fruity & hoppy. It is very well balanced with a complimenting malty caramel note that accentuates the hops. This beer reminds me of candied orange peels, spruce tips. The hops nearly dance across my tongue with spicy herbal notes of pine and a nice bitterness that moves from the middle of my tongue to the back of my mouth as this beer passes down my gullet. This is just a really nicely made Pale Ale, it is actually even better than the IPA and IIPA from this brewery.

Wow, pours a prismatic goldenrod color, but since I have trouble discerning color, lets just say it has the color of orgasmic inferno. Let’s hope this good opinion proceeds. Decent aroma, lot’s of hops, kind of smells like cotton candy actually. Mmmm, mmm! Great great great taste, I dare say this is the best (or ranks among the best) pale ales I have ever tried! And to think I got this for free during a promotional drive at my local beer retailer. Fantastic! Nothing wrong with this at all!

Light body but very crisp and clean, and a dry finish. Had a 2003 when it was called Fresh Hop Pale Ale, so this could have hurt the overall flavor. Too light to stand up to time. A pretty decent beer.

12 oz. bottle. I was surpised to see this listed as an English pale ale. I thought it was an APA for sure. Pours super clear copper with 1 cm. white head. Falls to a cover of substantial foam that slowly disappears as you enjoy the beer. little lacing. Aroma is sweet and malty with a little bit of citrusy hops. Carmelly malts. Flavor is very nicely balanced. Initial impression says this is one of the best Pale Ales I’ve had. Slightly bitter up front. Solid amt. of good malts in the middle. Not really carmelly, but sort of - crystal malts maybe? Not real sweet. Then some piney like hop flavors and a nice, sharp, but not too dry finish. Palate is perfect for a pale ale. Medium, but a good amt. of carbonation and bitterness to lighten it up a bit. Overall a top notch pale ale. Super well balanced, solid malts, not overly hoppy or bitter, but enough so to make is a pale ale. Easily drinkable. I’ve had many before and I will have many more.
