Commercial Description:
Our more muscular take on the beloved white ales of Belgium. Unmalted wheat and Belgian malted barley give the beer a light body and straw hue, while coriander and curaçao provide the traditional notes of spice and light acidity. This cloudy, deceptively drinkable creation should be enjoyed without the addition of fruit.

22 oz bottle. Pours a hazy light yellow with a huge frothy white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is sweet fruit, musty yeast and some spices (corriander).

The flavor is bready malts and earthy yeast with some sweet citric fruit and spices and some decent bitterness at the end. The alcohol is well hidden with some warming that sneaks up. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a decent wit beer, but doesn’t quite balance well. More odd notes comes out as it sits.

Slightly sweet moldy orange and doughy nose. Deep gold, minuscule haze, billowy cotton head. Spicy clovey sweetness, tart funkiness, good bitterness. Medium carbonation, fullish mouth feel, long burning finish. Tasty beer. Almost resembles their Saison, but a softer more elegant version with more wheat and spices. Another solid beer from GD.

Pours a transparent golden brass with a stringy-lacing froth of white head. Aroma of sweet biscuity malts and floral hops with some lemony citrus notes. Starts with good fullness and sweet sugary pale Belgian malts with a touch of coriander spice and orange rind balance before a slightly drier bittersweet finish. Pretty true to style (double wit) and drinkable as well.

Bomber into a tall wheat glass. Pours a cloudy golden orange with a huge and lasting white head (go wheat!). The aroma is wheat, subtle spices, powder, and cooking rice. The flavor presents lemon cake, orange peel, yeasty bread, and smooth wheat. The palate is high carbonation but still smooth. Honestly, this is better than some other impy whites I’ve had.

Bottle from Belmont Party. Poured hazy orange color with a large frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate yeasty citrus aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and lively carbonation. Medium to heavy citrus sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.
