Commercial Description:
Our more muscular take on the beloved white ales of Belgium. Unmalted wheat and Belgian malted barley give the beer a light body and straw hue, while coriander and curaçao provide the traditional notes of spice and light acidity. This cloudy, deceptively drinkable creation should be enjoyed without the addition of fruit.

Big aroma of yeast, spice, and wheat. A touch of funk noticeable in the background of it. Pours a clear light amber, with extremely visible carbonation, and a huge fluffy white head. Light mouthfeel, notes of cloves and banana, and a touch of citrus on the finish. Alcohol is very well hidden, and this is a light tasty wit for a hot summer night.

22 oz. bottle. Color is a bright gold with a good haze. Carbonation is good with a big white head. Aroma is a little sour with scents of grain and lemon. Taste is rich, smooth and fresh. Starting with a medium body it goes down with a smooth feel. Finish comes in with a rich feel and flavors of lemon, honey and a touch of coriander and white pepper. After taste is clean with a refreshing feel. I really like this brew its very tasty but seems to lack the sourness of a true White.

Clear orange pour with a huge fluffy head. Aroma is spicy and yeasty. Very bready flavor and dry. Spice, coriander, lemon, bubblegum. Kind of a musty aftertaste. Lingering alcohol. OK but not too interesting.

Stratford tasting @ Cletus house. Pours a pale golden white body with a white head. Citrus body wheat, bananas, bubblegum, lighter spices and a moderate etoh warming. Decent.

Bomber pours a slightly hazy gold under a thick, dense cap of foamy head. Champagne-like streams of bubbles continuously feed the head as you drink, so there’s excellent rentention after the initial thinning. Doughy aroma with hints of spice, banana, and grass. Creamy texture brings the expected flavors of lemon, yeast, malt, and cloves -- with a twist that reminds me of junpier. Not much evidence of the 8% ABV. I’m not a big fan of Belgians, but the low score of this one surprised me...I like it!

22 oz. – The Wine Source. Hazy gold, thick creamy white head. Spiced lemon meringue and sourdough bread aromas warm to soft swirls of peppered pear. Thick bready and dry spicy coriander flavors round with a hint of pepper and sweet orange zest. ABV heat chimes in well. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry spiced finish. Interesting take on the style, but I likely won’t revisit...
