Commercial Description:
Our more muscular take on the beloved white ales of Belgium. Unmalted wheat and Belgian malted barley give the beer a light body and straw hue, while coriander and curaçao provide the traditional notes of spice and light acidity. This cloudy, deceptively drinkable creation should be enjoyed without the addition of fruit.

22oz bottle. Bottle stamped bottled on JUN 03 2009. Poured a medium and hazy yellow color with a large sized white head. Aromas of sweaty wheat, citrus, and spices. Tastes of citrus, wheat, spices, and a touch of fruitiness. Alcohol content well hidden.

Pours a transparent golden brass with a stringy-lacing froth of white head. Aroma of sweet biscuity malts and floral hops with some lemony citrus notes. Starts with good fullness and sweet sugary pale Belgian malts with a touch of coriander spice and orange rind balance before a slightly drier bittersweet finish. Pretty true to style (double wit) and drinkable as well.

Bottle. Wow, only ten ratings thus far. Guess its pretty new. This was kind of of like a cross between Duvel and Hoegaarden (all the sum of the parts equalled something better than those beers i mentioned, just giving a reference). Nicely spicey, with some nice clove and some pepper. Nicelye orangey, subtley yeasty, and quite soft for the strength. Pretty good stuff.

Bomber from Pat’s Liquors in Porter, IN: It poured a slightly hazed straw body with a respectable white head. The aroma had a wheaty tartness along with some coriander and a citrusy bitterness. The mouthfeel was very spritzy, and I think this would’ve tasted even better if it was softer. As it was, it delivered the typical Witbier flavors very nicely along with a bit of alcohol. Pretty decent.

Bottle from Belmont Party. Poured hazy orange color with a large frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate yeasty citrus aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and lively carbonation. Medium to heavy citrus sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.
