Commercial Description:
Think of it as a hefeweizen’s older brother. A hearty mix of wheat and dark German barley malts gives it a medium body and muddy brown hue, while our proprietary yeast strain provides the signature notes of banana and clove. If you like wheat beers, come to the Dunkel side. You won’t be disappointed. Just don’t put any lemon in it. 6.4% ABV.

Musky, sweet, mashed banana malt aroma. Graphic-artsy label and cap, hazy medium brown beer. A tight head with big bubbles that are straining to get out of the matrix - looks like a cooking pancake, right before you need to flip it over. Grassy, and woody bitter with sugary sweetness on the backside. Finishes out with herbal bitterness, and a wet brown paper and water mouthfeel. To style, just not my style. New Leaf Market.

A tall, frothy off-white head tops this hazy, deep copper beer. Malty sweet aroma with nice banana. Sweet, fruity, and full bodied. A Nice Dunkelwieizen.

Bottle. Pours hazy brown with a small, rocky, off-white head, somewhat lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (dark grain, nutty), light hop (dry grass), heavy yeast (earth, leaves) with notes of cola, paper, and pear. Medium bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation, and a chalky finish. Long duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness.

really like the qualities of this beer starting with the look. the beer has got a great cloudy look with a touch of banana and fruity goodness. the taste is slightly spicy with a high malty taste. the rest is smooth with plenty of flavor.
