Commercial Description:
Espresso Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout is a new addition to the Yeti clan. A generous infusion of Denver’s own Pablo’s espresso adds yet another layer of complexity to this beer, combining with the vanilla oak character, intense roasty maltiness and bold hop profile to create a whole new breed of mythical creature. It’s official, you can now have Yeti with breakfast.

Suggested food pairings: Breakfast burrito, eggs Benedict, hash browns, cheesecake, creme brulee.

Bomber w/Naven. Pours dark as night with a head that looks like a Yoohoo drink. Flavor is definitely dominated by Espresso with the oak taking a backseat. All said, it is a great balance between the two dominant flavors and as it warmed up, the alcohol began to show. Oaked Yeti on it’s own is a great beer. The addition of espresso makes it a welcome diversion and is a pleasing ale I’d like to drink more frequently.

Gorgeous dark brown, almost black pour with a thick, creamy brown head that leaves a thick lacing. Aroma would be better fresh I would guess because it had the smell of old espresso beans with dark chocolate, caramel, vanilla, raisins and figs lingering in there. Flavor is wonderfully clean bitter and mouthfeel is smooth, rich and creamy but a tad thin. Overall, this is delicious and would like to try fresh.

Pours the usual opaque black with two finger pillow of brown head. Decent retention, amazing lacing on the glass. Strong aroma of oak, vanilla, and cocoa. Espresso flavor is so intense, it stomps over the great base. However, the base stout is one of my favorite beers ever, so it’s hard to knock it!

Bomber. Black with a huge brown head. Nose comes off with a huge coffee flavor, chocolates, malts. Any oak is hidden. Taste is very chocolately, coffee, rich, and alcoholic. Very nice and chewy and a bit fluffy. Way too easy to drink. This is a special beer-very well done and I’ll be looking for more bottles of this.

Pours black with a thick black head that lingers. Aroma is roasty malt, chocolate, coffee, and hops. Flavor is creamy chocolate with a hint of earthy coffee, and a lightly bitter long finish.

Bottle- And what a bottle, a black pour of creamy delight! Thick slight tan head with vanilla, creamy roasted malt and mocha. All seasoned with a perfect oak aged essence. Such a pleasure to drink this... to describe in words pales in comparison. If you can get this GET IT, get two and cellar the other. What a fantastic stout - will find this again.

Bottle shared by iowaherkeye and firmbuttstone. Poured an opaque black color. The head was thick and dark brown with an orange tint. Smelled of chocolate, light roasty malt, molasses, and a hint of booze. Medium to full boded and very roasty with mild to moderate bitterness. I anise, citrus, and chocolate. There wasn’t much in the way of distinct coffee, though. Delicious nonetheless.
