Commercial Description:
Espresso Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout is a new addition to the Yeti clan. A generous infusion of Denver’s own Pablo’s espresso adds yet another layer of complexity to this beer, combining with the vanilla oak character, intense roasty maltiness and bold hop profile to create a whole new breed of mythical creature. It’s official, you can now have Yeti with breakfast.

Suggested food pairings: Breakfast burrito, eggs Benedict, hash browns, cheesecake, creme brulee.

bottle at Ft Wayne tasting - Pours black with a moderately thick tan head. It smells of roast malt and coffee. The flavor is full of vinuous hops with the dark roast malt and coffee coming through strong too. It has a lingering sharp bitterness and a full body. It’s a very good beer, but it seems young. I think it would benefit from a couple years of aging.

Black pour with tan head and lace. Burnt coffee and oak aroma. Chocolate, coffee, with a medium bitter finish that is a combination of hop malt bitter. Full bodied creamy mouthfeel and good carbonation. A very damn special beer.

Brewed in the USA....... Courtesy of The Capt, thanks again. Pours a wonderful black color with a thick medium tan head. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee and a hint of vanilla. The taste has a burnt wood flavor with dark malts, chocolate and espresso notes. The mouthfeel is medium in body with a nice lingering bitter finish. Another winner from Great Divide !!!!

OMG! Da BOMB! Top of the line man. Everything is perfect. Aroma, color, head job, all superb and expressive. The mouthfeel is dazzling. Effers to malt ratio in balance. Huge and very strong. Not sweet at all. Just a sublimely balanced specimen summoned by all beer gods and shoved forefront. This one gets the Nobel prize in my book. Eat this with a chorizo and egg burro with a few Herdez jalapeños.

Bottle shared by TheCaptain, thanks a ton Mark.Oh this was such wonderful stuff. A black pour topped by a dense, creamy khaki head. Smells of dark chocolate, vanilla, coffee. Taste has the same traits only not in the same proportion, chocolate and vanilla play a very large role. The wonderful flavor paired with the thick, smooth mouthfeel makes it the beer equivalent of a mocha milkshake. This stuff was so good it made me a bit psychic, I could literally see myself in the future drinking this over and over again. Great Divide has a winner on its hands here.

Bomber shared with soccer290. I actually missed this beer while carousing my local liquor store. I am sure glad soccer290 was there to point it out to me! It pours a jet black color with a very nice brown head that rises up after it is poured. It actually looked like the head was growing on top of the brew. The aroma consisted of a LOT of coffee, roasted malt, and some chocolate and burnt wood. The taste was dominated by coffee with some hints of roasted malt, burnt wood, and chocolate. This brew lined my mouth after every drink and made me keep wanting more. It also left excellent lacing on the side of my glass also. Again, Great Divide impresses...
