Aroma is of burnt coffee and chocolate with a hint of molasses. Flavor is somewhat like the aroma. Starts out great with a chocolaty coffee punch. Unfortunately ends with a slightly metallic oakey bitter finish. Impressive overall. Maybe with a bit of aging, it will impress me more. markwise (1200), 15 Minutes from Kuhnhenn in, Florida, USA

Pour dark brown with dark brown head. Nose is espresso (shocker), earth, chocolate, and roasted malt. Flavor is earthy chocolate, some bitter coffee, and maybe a hint of whiskey. Flavor is nice, but coffee sits in the back seat. Medium to full-bodied, but could have been much better. HonkeyBra (1373), Lemont, Illinois, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Mar 17, 2009 Black oily pour with thick tan head that leaves a tone of lacing. Aroma is intense coffee. Huge coffee. Great coffee. Flavor is all the intense coffee with some chocolate and light hops. Lightly bitter. Smooth, creamy finish. It changes oak aged yeti in an interesting way, but I enjoyed this. Not as much as the original, but I still liked it. craftbeerdesign (766), Alpharetta, Georgia, USA
| 4.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Mar 16, 2009 on tap at The Brick Store Pub, Decatur, GA... first class beer... this is by far the best coffee stout I’ve had to date. The espresso has taken a top notch beer in Oak Aged Yeti and has transformed it into something even greater. Thick black with a solid 2 finger tan head... which eventually results in a quarter inch throughout. HUGE espresso aromas flood the nose... extremely smooth over the palate. There is obviously a ton of coffee, as well as some underlying vanilla, oak and roasted malts. A solid hop presence appears on the tip and throughout the finish... And the finish is top notch... bitter, smooth, roasty and delicious. Seriously one of the best beers. Had to stop off at Green’s and pick up a couple bottles on the way home. miketd (685), Cleveland, Ohio, USA

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 16, 2009 This was a great beer, with a strong hops profile. Definitely one of the better stouts with coffee/espresso. It came on strong with the coffee and in the aftertaste there was a distinct hint of vanilla. It had an excellent color profile. blutt59 (2172), Dallas, Texas, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 15, 2009 Bottle, courtesy markwise. Thick yummy black pour with huge creamy head and tons of thick lacing. Nose is earthy grass with some hops and very bitter coffee and roast. Flavor is pretty weak, some dry earthy bitter coffee and herbal notes. The coffee is yuck. Dry, balanced, I guess, but not that good. Haver’d the hell out of this.
