Commercial Description:
Espresso Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout is a new addition to the Yeti clan. A generous infusion of Denver’s own Pablo’s espresso adds yet another layer of complexity to this beer, combining with the vanilla oak character, intense roasty maltiness and bold hop profile to create a whole new breed of mythical creature. It’s official, you can now have Yeti with breakfast.

Suggested food pairings: Breakfast burrito, eggs Benedict, hash browns, cheesecake, creme brulee.

Draft. A pitch black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of roasted malt as well as some coffee; espresso roast. The flavor is has strong notes of dark milk chocolate, vanilla, and espresso coffee, leading to a very bitter finish, where the coffee lingers.

Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival. Very black, creamy brownish head. Pungent aroma of coffee and vanilla. Sweet and full bodied with dense rounded mouthfeel. Massive, yet not overly assaulting. Warming and tarry with vanilla and licorice to got with the coffee. Long salty bitterness. Like having everything at once. Surprisingly to me it works very well.

From tap at Ørsted Ølbar and Ølbaren. Pours pitch black with a slowly collapsing tan head. Dense coffee herbal and roasted malt with a distinct wooden and somewhat hoppy note. Sweet chocolate and nice coffee flavoured, distinct liqourice note too. Lasting roasted coffe and mild acidic flavoured with a distinct hoppy side. Smooth coffee and hoppy finish. The oak really mellows this one out. Nice one.

(22oz bottle) Large milkshakey dark brown head atop black body, nice lacing. Aroma is moderately sweet, rich coffee, dark and milk chocolate, some vanilla, light vinous. Taste is moderately sweet, espresso, some vanilla, vinous, roast, chocolate syrup. Light burnt in the finish. Remarkably smooth medium-full body. Alcohol more implied than really felt.
