Commercial Description:
Brewing with fresh hops is a big endeavor, requiring four to five times the hop volume compared to using pelletized hops. Although the process is complex, it brings impressive results: Fresh Hop is an American-style pale ale with moderate hop bitterness marked by a unique and intensely grassy hop flavor and aroma. Fresh Hop is a superbly refreshing, medium bodied, light-copper colored pale ale weighing in at 55 IBUs and 6.1% ABV.

Pours a medium orange color, mostly clear, with a thick white head and decent lacing. Aroma of pine hops and sweet malt. Taste has sweet malt and some tea flavors, with a citrus hop finish. Very refreshing beer, also not as bitter as the name would suggest - very nicely balanced.

Bomber shared with Barrios. Pours aclear gold with large off-white head. Great citrus hop aroma, a little grassy {just like the label says!}. Some honey joins the flavor with a slight bitterness in the finish. Fairly tasty, but WAY overpriced.

Fresh and leafy nose with some citrus and pine. Nice golden color with a good bubbly head and some sticky lacing. Super earthy, leafy hops combine with some biscuity malts. Very light underlying sweetness. Juicy hops round out the finish and linger for a minute. Really did taste fresh.

22oz in Bordeaux glass. Large, lacy head on brilliant deep gold. Unbelievable hop nose with some toasty caramel notes arriving later. Beery goodness continues with some malty sweet and refreshing bitter. A little sticky on the finish. Very rewarding burps.

Pours a clear amber with a frothy off white head. Aroma is medium sweet with pine, grapefruit, caramel, orange and grass. Flavor is pine, grapefruit, light caramel, light herbal and citrus. Very dry and fruity finish. Light to medium body, light chewy texture. One of the better APAs I have had in some time.

Big 22 oz bomber bottle into a big beer glass. Fresh hoppy floral aroma, not pine. Hazy brew with a lighter than iced tea color. Plenty of carbonation within, tho not much on the palate. Not exceptionally acrid hoppy but certainly plenty of hops. Bitter medicine feel about it. Yep, borders on IPA territory. Weirdly fruity at times. Long lingering nasty finish. Too much for this lager lover. You can tell this is 6% fer sure. A stronger flavored APA.

22oz bottle. Pours a hazy, murky, particle filled dull orange body. Lots of carbonation. Small, off-white active and fizzy head that remains pretty heavily laced with a nice coating on the surface. Sticky and sponge-like appearance. Plenty of grassy and pine hop in the aroma. Sharp citrus hoppiness as well. Thick and sweet caramel malts. Crisp and herbal spiciness. Pretty straightforward, but nice. Taste is very piney and grassy as well. Heavy citrus and grapefruit. Breadlike and hay. Very nicely balanced. Palate is slick, light bodied with a good amount of carbonation, oily, clean. Finishes dry and leaves a nice lingering citrus bitterness. Overall, great balance and drinkability. Very clean. A nicely hopped pale ale with a lot of flavor. Straightforward, but good stuff.
