Delicate hoppy herbal aroma. Creamy and refreshing, with a mellow, earthy hop profile. Subtle perfection. johndavidj99 (123), Township, Maine, USA

Dry with a nice body. Very grassy/hoppy with a kind of sweet grapefruit taste. I love it! Another quality brew from Great Divide! djd07 (740), Houston, Texas, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 10, 2008 On tap at Flying Saucer. Has a hazy golden orange color with a medium frothy off white head. The aroma is a strong hop and grass. Good lacing on the glass. The tase is fruity hops and citrus with a smooth finish. A great American pale ale from Great Divide. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 7, 2008 Updated: Mar 6, 2009Poured from a bomber. Poured a clear, golden color with a pillowy white head that left some of the best lacing I have ever seen. Aroma of hops and some pine. Entry is a nice malt with a hint of citrus, that leads into a piney, resiny hop hit. I would have liked more citrus flavor to accompany the hops on the end, but it was still nice. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 6, 2008 Bottle: Lucid orange with a creamy white head. The aroma has some orangey hops a buttery malt hint, as well as an obscure yeast hint. The body is slightly over carbonated. I like hoppy ales to be creamier in texture. The flavor has a sweet/spicy malt character, giving off some caramel and peppery notes. The hops are present, sticky and resiny with a orange-spice-citrus component. The finish is spicy and bitter. A decent, APA with a traditional profile. natejgood (189), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 3, 2008 Pours a clear golden amber with a substantial white head. It smells of crisp hops with floral tones in the background. The beer has a mellow sweet flavor right off the bat followed quickly by bitter hops, but the flavor disappears quickly leaving your mouth feeling clean. Not a bad beer, but the flavors seem to be somewhere in between a sweet beer and an overhopped beer. nwilder (40), Denmark
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jan 3, 2008 It pours orange with amber streaks and a coarse off-white foam. The aroma is grainy and bisquit sweet with a deep grassy, pine and grapefruit side. A truly warm and inviting aroma. In the mouth it starts with the same big bisquit sweetness, transitioning into an intense piney note that carries a firm stroke of bitterness that stands in stark contrast to the initial sweet impression. The sweetness and firm hop presense linger and play together in the mouth like chocolate and coffee. Cobra (1065), In a van, down by the river, Maryland, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 2, 2008 22 oz. brown, bomber bottle. No freshness date anywhere. Poured out a hazy orange color, with a sticky tan colored head. Aromas are of hops, naturally, with some malty aromas in the background. Flavors are of hops, but not over the top hops. Medium mouthfeel, needs some more alcohol to balance it out better.
