Oct 17, 2007 bottle: pours an orange honey colour with a just off white head with some lacing. aroma of very earthy pine hops very nice and fresh. i still get a good caramel malt in the background though. that makes the aroma more complete. flavour is very full with a mice pine a nd earth hop bitterness, some sticky sweet malt lays between another helping of the pine hops that finishes with some bitterness. all and all very good and refreshing.

Oct 13, 2007 Wonderful grassy, floral, and citrus aroma. Smooth malt with an assertive, crisp bitterness. Nice lingering finish.

Sep 26, 2007 Had this beer on 1/13/2004. Aroma is light with nice hop tones. Color is a deep gold with good carbonation and a thin head. Taste hoppy and bitter. Starting with a light body it goes down with a crisp feel. Finish comes in with a bright fresh hop flavor with just a hint of malt. This is followed by a smooth bitterness and leaves you with a floral hop flavor. Its a well rounded refreshing brew.

Sep 23, 2007 Bomber from Saarlander tasted at Saarlander’s SoCal tasting with saarlander, cquiroga, dirty_martini & kittiesandbeer, JohnC and others. Small bubble ehad. Light amber color. Easy to drink. Medium bitter/aroma hop level. Very nicely done.

Sep 20, 2007 Sample from 22 oz bottle. Pale orange amber colour with a frothy off-white head. Toffee and bready malts with a grapefruit pithy bitter finish. Medium bodied, juicy and firm mouthfeel. The gap is narrowing but I wish we had a few more beers like this around here.

Sep 14, 2007 Pours a clear amber with an off white head. Nose is reaching out to me even as I pour. Just getting it anywhere in the vicinity of my nose is giving me something. Upon close review, it is - surprise - very strong with the hops and that expected pine-like fragrance. Flavor is a strong, bitter hop influenced ride. A hopheads liquid paradise. Feel is thick from the high amount of hops and it holds a decent carbonation. Even though it is so pungent with the hops, it is still extremely drinkable.
