Commercial Description:
Brewing with fresh hops is a big endeavor, requiring four to five times the hop volume compared to using pelletized hops. Although the process is complex, it brings impressive results: Fresh Hop is an American-style pale ale with moderate hop bitterness marked by a unique and intensely grassy hop flavor and aroma. Fresh Hop is a superbly refreshing, medium bodied, light-copper colored pale ale weighing in at 55 IBUs and 6.1% ABV.

A hazy amber beer with a nice beige head. The aroma is sweet and extremely hoppy giving it notes of citrus and pine. The flavor is sweet and dominated by hops and grass, but also with notes of wood. The mouthfeel is very dry, and it has an OK bitterness.

(Bottle 65 cl) Pours amber golden with a slight haze and an off-white head. Fresh, floral nose. Light-bodied with some caramel. Dry, aromatic, flowery hop finish. Nice, hoppy APA. Thanks to fiulijn for this one. 150306

22 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a one finger thick light orange and creamy head. Fresh peachy hops aroma with a light wood note. Mild woody flavour with a mild peach hops note on top. Vague malt base which doesn’t show any sweetness that can be sensed as such, a rather dry and hoppy brew. Ends quite dry and with a light persisting pinewood note.

Bottled. Golden colour with particles floatingt around, mediumsized white head. Aroma is sweet fruity hops along with some nectary hints. Flavour is quite much the same, but does get some mild glueish sweetness as it warms up.

Golden color. The aroma is hoppy, very nice, fruity (apricots and grapefruit) and resiny. The hops are lovely, the body is quite thin. Of course the end is extremely long and bitter (resins, hazelnuts).
