Fluid was amber with a very large and thick foam.
An inviting and fresh aroma of hops, citrus, grass and fruits.
The taste was quite bitter, grapefruit, toffee, grass and fruit. Dry and easy to drink. Good beer, but maybe not that exciting in the long run. Not a complex beer but refreshing. jake65 (1725), Williston, North Dakota, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 2, 2009 Bottle: Pours amber with a large sandy head. Tons of sticky lacing. Thick aroma of citrus and grapefruit with light fruity sweetness. Really a delicious smell. Taste isn’t nearly as hoppy... comes out with light citrus, florals, and a bready maltiness. Cuts into the hop profile quite a bit. High hopes at first sniff, but ends up coming in right around average. altonbrownd (1914), Amsterdam, Netherlands
