Pours clear gold with a pillowy white head. Nose is sugar, yeast, banana, clove, some malt, hay, straw, and pepper. Flavor is reminiscent of a tripel: crisp apples, yeast, pepper, cloves and a tart finish that sticks around. Light in body and a very punctuated presence throughout the mouth. Not bad. shanepardue (107), Raytown, Missouri, USA

Aroma is some funk/yeast, light malt-hay, some pepper, dry. Nice, almost an 8. Taste is some funk/yeast, light malt-hay, some lemon/herbal hops, some pepper. Minimum carbonation. Taste is a letdown. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 11, 2009 Light clear, yellow body with a beautiful display of lacing, but sadly diminishes quickly. Aroma composed of Sharp malt, spices sensations.. A crisp and clear tasting bear that is very approachable, in the tradition of Great Divide brews. I imagine best after a day on the slopes. Lacks the complication of even New Belgium’s Tripple, but certainly fun to drink. Cornfield (4926), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 1, 2009 I picked this up at Liquor Stop in Highland, IN. It pours a clear yellow/gold body with a substantial head. It has a sweet aroma of pale malt, honey, cherries, and light spices. The taste is more starightforward - pale malt and a light fruitiness followed by a soft citric bitterness. Not bad. SudsMcDuff (1691), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA

Aroma is quite grainy, fresh bread, and some hops, with a typical belgian yeastiness.the flavor seems harsh, and unbalanced. Metalic hops, and more grains i’m not a fan. walleye (879), Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA
