Commercial Description:
Hades is brewed with a rare Belgian yeast strain that gives a complex spicy flavor and aroma. Noticeable hops and medium malt character make it an extremely well-balanced, crisp ale. Hades goes great with a bowl of fresh mussels, crusty bread, and virtually any artesian cheese.

Bottle: Misty yellow gold color, light head and lacing. The nose is malty with light pilsner notes, some yeast spice, floral noble hops and a light spice afterthought. The flavor is a bit bitter but has a decent malty mouthfeel. Lacking some of the trademark Belgian yeast esters. Restrained and safe approach to a usually doable style.

Not much too at, but looks can be deceiving, fruity malt flavors with a mellow hop feel. smooth finish

Hazy light yellow pour with a fizzy and short lasting head. Pretty strong floral aroma with spice and yeast notes. Good carbonation, initially starts out pretty sweet. Wheat and dough towards the middle. Peppery towards the finish which is crisp, slightly bitter. I thought it was underrated.

Bottle shared with Fly, Dewbrewer, Humulone Red and others. Thanks guys!
Slightly cloudy yellow pour. Light malt nose almost like the smell of a hot bowl of fresh white rice. Taste is rice-y, wheaty, and moderatley spiced in the style of a wit-bier. A bit sweet overall. Interesting beer, but not a favorite of mine.

Bottle. Light spicy aroma with notes of hops and the Belgian yeast.Plain flavor with a sweet body. Notes of yeast, grape and a light spicy note. Finishes with a dry palate with notes of hops and citrus. Very light alcohol warmth completes the pattern.

i guess i’ll rate this. had it in new york city a couple nights ago. tasted like a shitty duvel to me. super pale golden color, minimal head. taste was pretty spicy, sure, but there was nothing redeeming except maybe the abv. never again.

Hazy blonde. No head. Rather perfumey aroma. Flavour is apple-perfume with a hint of baguette. You can sense a hint of Duvellishness but that serves to call attention to the fact that this doesn’t measure up.

Pours straw color with decent foam. Nice sweet grain aroma. Soapy and alcoholic flavors. Not that much else going on. If the malts were bigger or more assertive this could really work. Soft mouthfeel.
