The body revealed is a translucent pale golden with a pretty glow. Nonetheless, this looks bland. alcohol is mild but still penetrates the senses in the first inhalation. Festering grains are plentiful, a mild dose of candi sugar mingles with faint mustiness. Grassy hops are timid. Banana esters keep the nose very sweet and standard. Lemon, pineapple and orange juices provide a crisp backdrop, keeping maltiness at bay. the flavor is very highly sweet and cloying. This is coupled with boisterous acidity and the rseults are tongue-crunching. Peppery yeast and heavier fruit notes make this very unappetizing. This would probably go well with some seafodd, but only in very small doses. The mouthfeel is modestly carbonated but prickly, cloying and sticky and watery. Grassy hops and sweet sugars are tumultuous in the finish. TheCheeseMan (538), Saint Cloud, Florida, USA

Aroma is grainy, some malt, lemon zest, apple juice, candi sugar and a bit of yeast. The flavor is more of the same, but seems to be a bit jumbled. Odd "burn" on the finish, not my cuppa. sunevdj (1770), Copenhagen OE, Denmark

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 30, 2007 Picked up 22-oz bomber from Cellar’s Wine & Spirits in St Paul, MN. Pours a clear golden blonde brew with a thin and fast dissolving white head that leaves behind a fine film and some spotty lacing around the white ring. Aroma of typical Belgian banana ester yeast, some multi-grain malt lemon zest, and a touch of apple. Taste is medium bodied, light carbonation with some white pepper, grassy hops and a touch of multi-grain malt. Finish has a good balance of dry and semi-sweet character with a slight grassy hop aftertaste. I did not pick a lot of alcohol presence in this beer. bfeldmann (1042), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 27, 2007 Poured a light light golden color with tons of carbonation, small head and almost no lacing. Aroma was yeast and grass not what i expected at all. Flavor was to much grass and yeast not sure if this should even be a belgian. Not a good beer at all train wreck if you ask me. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 27, 2007 Bottle: Misty yellow gold color, light head and lacing. The nose is malty with light pilsner notes, some yeast spice, floral noble hops and a light spice afterthought. The flavor is a bit bitter but has a decent malty mouthfeel. Lacking some of the trademark Belgian yeast esters. Restrained and safe approach to a usually doable style. Palidor19 (1772), Brandon, Florida, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 22, 2007 Hazy light yellow pour with a fizzy and short lasting head. Pretty strong floral aroma with spice and yeast notes. Good carbonation, initially starts out pretty sweet. Wheat and dough towards the middle. Peppery towards the finish which is crisp, slightly bitter. I thought it was underrated.
