| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 26, 2007 Had this beer on 7/29/2007. Aroma is a sweet crisp scent. Color is a pale hazy yellow with good carbonation and thin head. Taste is crisp and bitter. Starting with a light/medium body it goes down crisp. Finish comes on with mild sweet malt flavor back by a sour yeast taste then ends dry with a nice bitterness. Its a bit more bitter then I feel a Strong Golden should be and the Belgian taste is a bit light. bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 26, 2007 Hazy and blond with nice sized lasting head. Aroma is spicy and yeasty with a touch of candy sugar. Sweet upfront before thinning as it finishes. Malts are not overly deep to keep this one thick. redlight (1460), Winter Park, Florida, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 25, 2007 Alcohol, spicy, with hints of banana in the aroma. Pours very light blonde with little head. Spicy, some citrus, cereal grain flavors, a little bit of banana fruitiness, metalic aftertaste that lingers. Not sure if i like this one. Although i love most everything they brew. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Sep 25, 2007 Poured a golden clear body with a miniscule white and wispy head. Bright, fruity and yeasty nose. Notes of banana, liquorish, and candied oranges. Well-balanced aside from a strong PNW hop presence. stegosaurus (1882), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 25, 2007 Bottle sampled. I expected more since i love the Belgian styles, more so than anything else. Pours golden with a small white sparse head. Aroma of citrus, yeast, light fruit, and sweetness. The flavor is citrus, spicey hops, yeast, and some sweetness. Very few breweries in the USA have mastered the art of Belgian style brewing, this is not one of the few who have. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 24, 2007 Bottle from Capone’s. I love seeing mew Great Divide beers, but this is the second in a row (after Samurai( that I must call a disappointment. Very pale gold pour with an aroma that is malt liquory, with some hopcit, fruit, big grainy malt, and some funky yeasty notes, and a flavor that has hopcitrus, pale malt, funky notes, and even a tad of sake flavor. Not my cup of tea, this. PilsnerPeter (2612), Flushing, New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 23, 2007 Bottle: Fairly clear golden pour with a thin whtie head. Very light hop character inthe aroma. Some estery fruitiness, lemon-zest, yeast, dough, and some crystal malt. Simple. Dense, tightly carbonated body. The flavor has an evident Belgian yeast character overall. There’s some banana esters, along with mild balancing spiciness. The alcohol gives it a peppery touch. The sweetness in the background is slightly reminiscent of bubblegum. A decent Belgian effort. Quite quaffable.
