May 5, 2009 12oz - Mild aroma of doughy yeast, lemon and spice. Pours transparent yellow with a little head and good lacing. Flavor matches aroma. Palate is creamy. Overall a bland and boring brew.

May 4, 2009 pours hazy blond with small white head. not much in the aroma, sweet malts, some sugary notes, maybe a little spice in there. drinks fairly thin but sweet with typical belgian flavors. light drinker, but at 7.3 a few could make ya dizzy

May 3, 2009 12 oz bottle in a brandy snifter. Light yeast aroma. Gold colored, with a faint white ring of foam around the glass. Medium bitter, lightly sweet. Resembles more of a lager/pils than a belgian. Thin texture, light body, little carbonation. Not much going on here. Much too light in body, texture, and flavor.

Apr 24, 2009 Pours clear golden with small head retention and decent lacing. Mildly hoppy and spicy with something smooth and plasticene in the background. Medium-light mouthfeel with immediate mild hop presence on the tongue. I would never say this has a medium malt character. Lacks complexity, but very drinkable. Great Divide brews the big beers so well, if they wanna go Belgian, maybe they should brew a quad.

Apr 19, 2009 Damn, I knew I should have read these ratings before spending $11 on this 6 pack. This Belgian style ale starts out very clear with a nice white head that disipates rather quickly. The flavor is very light spice with very small fruit and yeast. Tastes like a watered down. Very mild with a dry, hoppy finish; just way too small in every way.

Apr 18, 2009 Draught in the tap room. I thought it was a nice Belgian ale. True to form but nothing special. Great example of the style and a good place to start.

Apr 16, 2009 Draft at the tasting room. Pours a thinnish head of poor duration over a clear light yellow (SRM 10) body, no lacing .....nose is of light Belgian yeast type phenols with light clove, allspice, coriander tones.....taste is rather milder than anticipated, but again the usual clove, allspice came through, although somewhat light,this is nicely dry throughout, and alcohol flavors were always there...mouth feel is quite appropriate for the style.
