Commercial Description:
Hades is brewed with a rare Belgian yeast strain that gives a complex spicy flavor and aroma. Noticeable hops and medium malt character make it an extremely well-balanced, crisp ale. Hades goes great with a bowl of fresh mussels, crusty bread, and virtually any artesian cheese.

Pours a hazy gold. The head is fleeting and noisy. Leafy, musky hops top the aroma. The flavor is a bit dry, assertive bitterness, but the flavor is short-lived and disappointing. Some estery aromas under the hops.

Pours a very pale, slightly hazy yellow body. Small, fizzy white head that settles quickly to a patchy film with a solid, bubbly edge. Aroma is lightly floral and spicy, with fresh wildflowers, dandelions, lemon chiffon, and coriander. The flavor follows along those same lines. Flowers of seemingly every variety are present. The coriander adds a nice spiciness, but its not overpowering as some Belgians tend to be. Cream and sweetened lemon add much welcomed smoothness. Medium bodied, light, crisp and refreshing. Not fantastic, but I enjoyed this one.

12oz bottle from holdenn. pours clear golden with white head. nose is a touch yeasty, some spice and pale malts. flavors are slgihtly sweet and balanced by a touch of pepper and yeast. this is very straight forward but makes great lawnmower beer if found much cheaper.

(bottle - 12 oz) Golden color with a fizzy white head. Aroma is yeasty and spicy with some light hints of ginger. Dry and sweet taste at the beginning with a smooth and spicy yeast middle. Nice hints of bubblegum and clove along with some dry hops in the middle. Finishes bitter and very dry.

Hazy yellow color with a big white head like beaten egg whites. Light spicey nose. Bitter orange peel and spice flavors, with some earthy yeast notes. Light and crisp, but not very complex.

Bottled. Hazy golden coloured with a rather large offwhite head. Quite fruity with notes of banana, yeast, spices and caramel.

hazy, bright straw gold color with a film head. aroma of hops, marshmallow, and grains, but just sort of wet and unexciting. flavors bitter hops, grass, grains, creamed corn, and alcohol. sharply carbonated. light bodied. palate is lacking.
