Smell is fruity, full of bananas and lemons. Some malt sweetness and perhaps a little bit of hops. Not much alcohol is detected. Pretty bad at cold temps, but as it warmed it became much more interesting and drinkable. I think the lower rating is due to people drinking this one too cold. Let it warm up and its good! | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | May 26, 2008 Golden color with a medium white head. Aroma is sugary with some honey and citrus poking through. Flavor has some sweet sugar/honey malt, belgian yeast, candy, and citrus but also brings a raw graininess that does not benefit the beer. Its a tough one to drink much of and not one of GD’s better efforts. Marsiblursi (1659), Göteborg, Sweden
