| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 11, 2007 Hazy blonde. No head. Rather perfumey aroma. Flavour is apple-perfume with a hint of baguette. You can sense a hint of Duvellishness but that serves to call attention to the fact that this doesn’t measure up. fiulijn (7520), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 18, 2008 It has a beautiful sunny blond color, with a generous head and a persistent perlage. The aroma is lightly malty, Belgian. It has a medium sweet body, with malt and some spices (coriander), and the touch of a Belgian yeast; a dry malt line leads to the final, that is well bitter, bitterness being on the top edge for such beer. No thrills, ok, but it’s a very good and straightforward Belgian Ale. Purist. KimJohansen (7205), Copenhagen V, Denmark

Hazy yellow color, big white cloudy head, lace. Grainy, glueish mango aroma. Flavor is fruity and yeasty, a bit grainy and harsh alcoholic too. Hoppy aftertaste. A bit dull brew from Great Divide. This bottle was 1,5 yrs old, I suppose it is better when fresh - although ratings here are not raving this so much.
