May 27, 2009 12oz bottle. Pours a hazy light golden with a small fine white froth. Strong aroma of distinctive Belgian yeast, fruity, lightly metallic, banana, bready, doughy. Flavor is upfront candied banana, quick tangy sweetness that quickly dries out, doughy, crackers, yeast, lightly fruity, some noticeable alcohol in the finish that is also fairly hoppy, spicy, peppery. Medium bodied, heavy water feel, larger sparse carbonation.

Jul 16, 2007 Draft at Max’s Baltimore. Poured a clear golden color with a creamy white head. Aroma was yeasty with hints of fruit and some hops. Flavor was yeast, spice and some citrus. Rather hoppy for a Blegian style but it was a nice change of pace.

Jun 3, 2009 Sampled at Johnny’s Sidebar. There is a lot about this beer that says Belgian. Yeast and candi sugar are two examples. It was also malty. Interestingly, there was an unexpected hop bitterness that offset some of that sweetness.

Sep 25, 2007 Alcohol, spicy, with hints of banana in the aroma. Pours very light blonde with little head. Spicy, some citrus, cereal grain flavors, a little bit of banana fruitiness, metalic aftertaste that lingers. Not sure if i like this one. Although i love most everything they brew.

Oct 5, 2007 Pours out light golden color with fluffy white head. Fruity wheat aroma. Wheat taste with hints of fruit and yeast. Goes down very smooth with a dry crisp aftertaste.

Aug 2, 2009 12oz bottle pours clear golden color with a thin white head. Belgian yeasts in the aroma touch of dough, pepper, spice, banana and pale malts. Similar flavors: fruity with peppery spices and mildly sweet doughy malt finish. Middle of the road, nothing glaringly wrong, nothing that special either. Throw some more hops in here and this would be better fo sho.

Mar 25, 2009 great golden pour with a frothy white head. Aroma is quite grainy, fresh bread, and some hops, with a typical belgian yeastiness.the flavor seems harsh, and unbalanced. Metalic hops, and more grains i’m not a fan.

Aug 11, 2009 12oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours clear yellow with a huge but loose white head. Aroma is musty champagne with a dash of sweet fruit esters. The flavor is sweet fruit esters all the way with a fresh grain finish and a touch of metal. Medium-high body and medium carbonation.
