Lemon aroma initially, then comes wood and dust in gentle doses. Intense initial punch of dry alder wood, bitter lemon peel and raw hop pellets. finishes sweet with the lemon and the raw hops lingering both on different sides of my mouth. Probably better with food. jrob21 (1268), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 13, 2007 Decent belgian golden ale with some nice wheat, bread and slight spice to it. On draft at the brickstore. Big white head clear golden yellow color. Medium bodied and quick to finish. There is something off about this one though, maybe the alcohol or bitter bite. I would look for this to be a little smoother and more mellow. MI2CA (1266), Noblesville, Indiana, USA
