Commercial Description:
Hades is brewed with a rare Belgian yeast strain that gives a complex spicy flavor and aroma. Noticeable hops and medium malt character make it an extremely well-balanced, crisp ale. Hades goes great with a bowl of fresh mussels, crusty bread, and virtually any artesian cheese.

Pale blond, moderate haze, sparse white head. Lemon aroma initially, then comes wood and dust in gentle doses. Intense initial punch of dry alder wood, bitter lemon peel and raw hop pellets. finishes sweet with the lemon and the raw hops lingering both on different sides of my mouth. Probably better with food.

Decent belgian golden ale with some nice wheat, bread and slight spice to it. On draft at the brickstore. Big white head clear golden yellow color. Medium bodied and quick to finish. There is something off about this one though, maybe the alcohol or bitter bite. I would look for this to be a little smoother and more mellow.

12oz - Mild aroma of doughy yeast, lemon and spice. Pours transparent yellow with a little head and good lacing. Flavor matches aroma. Palate is creamy. Overall a bland and boring brew.

Heavy wit. Strong tart taste. Not so much a spice, but a yeasty wheat. I’m not sure if I would drink again.

On tap at D’s Six Pax. Clear yellow, white head. Aroma is funky, musty, tangy. Flavor is funky cheese, sausage, and wheat. More like a saison or farmhouse.
