Jul 2, 2009 Clear gold with a thick, fluffy white head. Soft Belgian yeast nose, fruity and saison-like. Flavor is much the same wit ha light citrus tang. Sweet and subtle. Nice.

Aug 6, 2009 [Bottle] Pours a golden color with lots of white head. A sweet and syrupy nose, with yeast and sweet malt notes. Taste is a little more subdued. Citrus, yeast and light fruity notes as well. Still a little heavy/cloying despite the rather high carbonation levels. Overall, not a bad beer though.

Apr 12, 2008 Dec. 2007 - Perhaps one of the most drinkable Belgians I’ve had. Pale golden color with minimal head and lacing. Weak aroma of belgian malty fruitiness. The flavor was subtle fruits and spicing, but not watery. Very crisp bananas, some citrus twang and also a distinct yeastiness. A good beer with food.

2 oz. bottle. Clear yellow with a very spare, bubbly white head, minimal lace. HOney like aroma with some background spiciness and a hint of lemon. Light body, very effervescent, fairly clean palate, but nothing of note lingers. Starts off lightly sweet, then some acidity comes through, followed by a softly dry finish. Far from the best offering from this fine brewer.

Apr 16, 2008 Bottled. Part of blind tasting. Pour is very clear, decent white head atop. Plenty of spice, crisp hops, and yeast. Very unique balance, highly enjoyable... doesn’t taste like it tooks. Could see this pairing well with many foods. Also a bit surprised by the low rating.

taste is fruity, a little sweet, bit on the bitter side, some yeast, ends tangy and slightly dry.

Mar 12, 2009 Crushed with Jakebra. Color of pee. Stings the nostrils. Smells a little chemically. Had some nice, sweet malt, but the chemical pee smell dominates. Flavor is pretty blah. Not much to comment on. Not going to try this one again.

Aug 7, 2007 Not bad. Pours out a clear amber color with a nice beige head. aroma is rather sweet and spicy as is the flavor. Lots of sweetness going on here. Interesting brew, but not quite what i had expected to from GD
