Very pale almost champagne color with ring head (not sure why I didn’t get the head others got). Yeasty sugary aroma with mild white wine and hop spice. Sugary white wine fruitiness with mild finishing spicy dry bitterness. Decent mouthfeel with nice fine internal carbo. Pretty decent for hit or miss style. Drinkable, but not exactly Duvel. THe belgian yeast is front and center, sweet background, some coriander. For me, an above average golden, but that aint sayin much. Soonah (931), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 23, 2008 The pour was crystal clear and golden with light effervescence and a short, fizzy white head. No lacing. The aroma was sweet sugar, light malt and a bit of yeast. The flavor was sugary and only the faintest trace of yeast came through. A bit of hops at the end provided decent balance. The mouthfeel was not bad. Just OK. LooseCannon (930), Norfolk, Virginia, USA
