| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 13, 2008 22 oz bottle. Golden color, nice aroma of bubble gum, clove, and spice. Flavor is much of the same. Pretty standard Belgian Ale, but very solid. Surprised by the relatively low score. sheatripper (863), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 8, 2007 Bomber. Gold pour, disappointingly clear, with a minimal head. Bready and floral aroma with banana and pear. Generally sweet bubblegum flavor cut with some moderate spiciness. Medium bodied with not a whole lot of carbonation. Some hop bitterness at the very back of the finish. Some citrus zestiness appears now and then. Clearly not the best Belgian styled ale around but drinkable nonetheless. Probably better if it were washing down moules as the label suggests.
