Commercial Description:
Hades is brewed with a rare Belgian yeast strain that gives a complex spicy flavor and aroma. Noticeable hops and medium malt character make it an extremely well-balanced, crisp ale. Hades goes great with a bowl of fresh mussels, crusty bread, and virtually any artesian cheese.

It’s golden like the average pilsner and the head is huge and nice. The aroma is spicy, slightly fruity, sweet and yeasty. The flavour has sweetness, notes of spice, yeast, light fruits and a citrussy bitterness in the finish. It’s quite OK and harmonic, but not outstanding - so stick to the nice US style you have!

Bottle. Pours a pale yellow colour. Bit sweet, spiced, nice hoppy and bit grassy aroma. The flavour has a little sweetness, some yeast, some spices, good hoppiness. Thanks BelJohansen.

Bottle. Cardemom, anis and orange in the aroma. Sweetish flavor with orange and various spices (cardemom, coreander, anis). Also spices in the finish. Sticky mouthfeel. Just a touch of alcohol.

A Mes rate: Bottle at RBESG. Pale yellow / gold. Fruity and slightly herbacious aroma. Spicy fake Belgian flavour. Dull as hell.

Bottle @ Ølbaren, Cph. [thank you, Yespr]
Pours a pale yellow, light haziness throughout. A small film head on top. Aroma is sweet at first, kind of reminds me of a tripel. Some peach and grassy notes appear as well, and get stronger as the beer heats up. An okay, lightish body. Flavour is rather German, dominated by grassy hops, high carbonation and a light spiciness (diverging from the German analogy). A touch of a metallic aftertaste appear as well. This is a good pilsner, an okay Zwickel, an acceptable Belgian Ale, but below par for Great Divide.

(Bottle) Pours a clear pale yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of mustiness, horse blanket, apple, and herbs. Flavor of floral/grassy hops, clove, light fruit, and herbs with a dry, bitter finish.

12oz bottle-pours a tight foamy white head that dissipates and yellow/gold color. Aroma is some funk/yeast, light malt-hay, some pepper, dry. Nice, almost an 8. Taste is some funk/yeast, light malt-hay, some lemon/herbal hops, some pepper. Minimum carbonation. Taste is a letdown. Thanks to Joe-jwc215 for sharing this.
