On tap @ Falling Rock poured a clear yellow with a small lingering white head. Aromas of fruitiness, candy sugar and a hint of spice. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread, light spice and a hint of fruitiness with a smooth dry semisweet finish.

Draught at Falling Rock. Pours clear, sparkling gold with an average rocky white head, mostly lasting, good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (bread, cereal), light hops (herbs, grass), heavy yeast (dough, earth, sweat) with notes of butter and dust. Medium bodied, creamy texture, average carbonation and a chalky finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness; banana estery yeast with grain malt flavor.

Bottle. Translucent gold with a short white head. Aroma is strong Belgian yeast, fruit notes, candy, and spicy/peppery notes. Taste is sweet malts, bread dough, peppery spice, Belgian yeast, dried fruit and candy fruit. Bit of grassy hops and honey as well. Body is light-medium and very bubbly, though more dense than spritzy. Ends with stronger spicy notes, flowers, grass, dried fruit, yeast notes, toasted malt and candy. Nice!

Bottle. Deceivingly blonde beer, but the fruity aroma gives it away. Very nice Belgian blonde pastiche beer, I’d be happy to swap my Duvel for this.

Savannah, Ga. Habersham Beverages, 22 oz bomber. Medium golden pour sporting a silky white head with good lacing. Pretty much of a neutral aroma, very brief hints of citrus and maybe some spearmint - not much else. Flavor has some fruitiness - of the melon variety, not overpowering - very mellow. Hint of spiciness in the back end, some candied sugar notes - but overall, not very "Belgian". Mouthfeel is slightly spritzy. Overall, let’s call this one average.

Draft at the brewery tap room in Denver. Poured a clear, very pale light golden color. Head was two fingers high, fluffy, and white. The aroma was subdued overall consisting of light banana and some clove. There was also a hint of something strange that I can only describe as air-freshener-esque. Dry and bubbly on the tongue with cereal grain and clove accented by a citrus note.

Bottle from acknud. Pours a fairly clear gold color wtih a small white head. Aroma is heavy on the yeast and a grainy malt character. Flavor has some malty sweetness and a hint of yeast..but the flavor is lemony and a bit bitter. Not sure about this one. GD needs to stick to what they know.

In the bomber bottle from Total Beverage. Pours dark gold with a large thick and creamy white head. Fruity aroma. Flavor is like Juicy Fruit Gum with a candy lemon drop (but not citrus). A fairly boring beer otherwise.
