Commercial Description:
Hades is brewed with a rare Belgian yeast strain that gives a complex spicy flavor and aroma. Noticeable hops and medium malt character make it an extremely well-balanced, crisp ale. Hades goes great with a bowl of fresh mussels, crusty bread, and virtually any artesian cheese.

Bottle, RBESG Grand Tasting 07. Clear golden with a thin white head. Nose is fuzzy hoppy, lemony aroma quite strong. Mouth is malty warm spices, almost cinnamon, citrus balance for a really nice slip down. Gives a warm dry end. Nice!

Bottle, 22oz. A hazy, yellow-golden beer with a white head. Pale malt, bananaish fruityness and a little spicy touch in the aroma. The flavor is much the same. Would like them both more pronounced, especially the aroma. Medium body. It’s way to high on the alcohol to make it an all-nighter, besides that, it has the easy-to-drink, quaffable qualities a session-beer needs. (080314)

Poured a golden clear body with a miniscule white and wispy head. Bright, fruity and yeasty nose. Notes of banana, liquorish, and candied oranges. Well-balanced aside from a strong PNW hop presence.

Complete piss yellow with a little white head & nearly no lacings. Aroma is of straw, yeast & wheat. Medium bodied. Light alcohol sharp taste. Defenetly crisp - no doubt. But perhaps a rather boring Belgium ale. Not complex in any way. However the taste is powerfull enough & this is still very well made & enjoyable. Grainy, hoppy, alcohol, malty (wheat) & sligth spicy (coriander mainly)
