No major complaints fro me, I actually enjoyed this much more than the first time I had it when it first came out. Easy drinking and unoffensive. kramer (2484), Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA

Pours a slightly hazy straw yellow body under a minimal fizzy white head that retained as a thin covering. Nose is very doughy and bready with some light hoppiness and some light yeast. A little spice and grassiness. Flavor is light and airy with doughy malt, a little bitterness on the finish, and some light yeast derived spiciness. A light wheat malt note throughout. Mouthfeel is light bodied with a spritzy fizzy pinpoint carbonation level. A little bit of a sticky chewiness on the finish. OK, but not especially memorable or unique. jrob21 (1275), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

On draft at the brickstore. Big white head clear golden yellow color. Medium bodied and quick to finish. There is something off about this one though, maybe the alcohol or bitter bite. I would look for this to be a little smoother and more mellow. sneagrams3 (1759), St. Louis, Missouri, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 22, 2007 Tasted 9/1/07. 22oz bomber. Clear with a golden hue. Moldy white head. Citrus and bready aromas. The yeast adds a banana aroma. Medium bodied with a big yeast note and citrus effervescence. Bitter with a moderate burn. Honeyish. Sweet and bitter dichotomy. Spicy and peppery. Gets better as it warms, but only to a degree. It still needs a slight chill. Borderline. punkrkr27 (641), Berkley, Michigan, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 21, 2009 Pale gold pour with a loose, 2-finger, white head that fades to a thin ring. Spicy and peppery phenol aroma with notes of lemon bread, clove, yeast, candi sugar, and bubblegum. Citrus and biscuit hit your tongue first followed by some banana and clove esters and finishing with some peppery phenols. Dry, slightly sticky body with a crisp finish but a bit on the thin side. Pretty middle of the road Belgian golden but makes for a pretty nice summer beer to go with lighter grilled chicken. I had it with some Hawaiian chicken kabobs and it paired pretty nicely. yespr (12404), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Fresh hoppy aroma, slight grassy. Flavour is fresh hoppy, light sweet and with a mild spice note. Lingers into the finish with a little alcohol warmth. Quite fresh hoppy brew, but close to a German pilsner. Best US imitation of a German pilsner, but so close that I wonder why I should drink this compared to the German originals. I only vaguely sense the Belgian yeast. Ibrew2or3 (2766), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 20, 2008 Pours clear water with a slight tint of yellow and 20 second bright white head. The aroma is fruity up front and approaching the sense of a cider with big notes of assorted apples then moving into apricots, sweet malts, a hint of pepper and a sense of yeasty spice. The taste is very similar to the nose with sweet red and granny smith apples to go along with light color fruity esters, malt and candi sugar sweetness, a bit of pepper and the assorted Belgian yeast spiciness. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 23, 2008 The pour was crystal clear and golden with light effervescence and a short, fizzy white head. No lacing. The aroma was sweet sugar, light malt and a bit of yeast. The flavor was sugary and only the faintest trace of yeast came through. A bit of hops at the end provided decent balance. The mouthfeel was not bad. Just OK.
