THe belgian yeast is front and center, sweet background, some coriander. For me, an above average golden, but that aint sayin much. italianjohn (382), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 24, 2009 Pours a clear golden color with about 1.5 fingers of foam, and a little bit of lacing. The aroma matches the taste which is of sweet wheat, citrus, and alcohol notes. There is a slightly bitter aftertaste due to the hops. Clean and crisp mouthfeel, with a clean finish. Good beer. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 1, 2009 Good hints of white spice. While I understand that beligans should be less dark, this beer looks and heads like natural light. Not a whole lot of flavor, but there is good spice on the back. This is one of the most drinkable belgians at 7.3% i’ve ever had. sebletitje (1978), Tampa, Florida, USA

Aroma is yeasty with citrus nose.
Taste is yeasty, fruty (apricot), malty, some sweet caramel. Light hop bitterness with spices in the finish.
An average ale, alcohol is well present. BVery (551), Burnsville, Minnesota, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 11, 2009 Light clear, yellow body with a beautiful display of lacing, but sadly diminishes quickly. Aroma composed of Sharp malt, spices sensations.. A crisp and clear tasting bear that is very approachable, in the tradition of Great Divide brews. I imagine best after a day on the slopes. Lacks the complication of even New Belgium’s Tripple, but certainly fun to drink. jodah52 (66), Michigan, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 5, 2009 This is interesting. Kind of like a tripel, but still very different. Very light, slightly hazy gold with a light head; aromas of of hops and spice give way to a fruity aroma as it warms - almost exactly like a sweet white wine. Has very prominent grain flavors with a crisp hop bite; light and very refreshing. Good lawnmower ale; not very complex, but pleasant.
