Commercial Description:
Hades is brewed with a rare Belgian yeast strain that gives a complex spicy flavor and aroma. Noticeable hops and medium malt character make it an extremely well-balanced, crisp ale. Hades goes great with a bowl of fresh mussels, crusty bread, and virtually any artesian cheese.

22oz. Bottle: Aroma of yeast, herbs, toasted malts, spices, and a hint of fruit. Poured golden in color with a large, foamy white head that lasted throughout. Clear. Very sparkling. Flavor is very earthy, herbal, and grassy with some light spices. Medium body. Creamy, tingly texture. Lively carbonation. Bitter herbal finish.

Tap @ GD. Poured a clear bright yellow color with a white head. The aroma was malty with a fair amount of Belgian yeast character. The flavor was yeasty with a sweet malt start but a very dry bitter finish. To dry for me. Medium bodied.

Pours a hazy gold. The head is fleeting and noisy. Leafy, musky hops top the aroma. The flavor is a bit dry, assertive bitterness, but the flavor is short-lived and disappointing. Some estery aromas under the hops.

Draught at Bocktown. Huge banana esters, sweet with honey, orange peel and bubblegum. Little fruity hops. Light golden clear with thin lacing head. Medium heavy watery body with medium carbonation. Light alcohol presence, starts sweet with a tripel type sweetness, warming and sweet. Banana and bubblegum, wheat chalky bitterness in the finish. Floral hoppiness in the after. Like a watery tripel with sweet but not cloying after.

Very bright yellow with a pale, white head that fades very quickly. Skunky aroma with a gentle, herbal spiciness. The flavor is very similar to a lager, cold-conditioned, and its not very Belgian-like for me.

Bottled. RBESG. Golden colour. Hoppy aroma with notes of pineapple. Flavour is triple sweetness, ie almond paste, along with bit of choriander and fruity esters. Alcohol is here as it should. Full malty and very American.

Very clear, very palte golden. Large lasting white head. Clean, soft banana, yeasty nose. A close to exaggerated sweetness immediately reminds of bubblegum. Moderately high carbonation. Notes of cloves and nutmeg. Pretty well done. Light, clearly filtered body.
