This is a great summer beer as it pours transparend gold. Not lots but plenty of carbination. The one finger head disapates to a light film as the bubbles rise to the surface. at 6.99 its a little pricey either way im enjoingit! markwise (1200), 15 Minutes from Kuhnhenn in, Florida, USA

Pours clear gold with a pillowy white head. Nose is sugar, yeast, banana, clove, some malt, hay, straw, and pepper. Flavor is reminiscent of a tripel: crisp apples, yeast, pepper, cloves and a tart finish that sticks around. Light in body and a very punctuated presence throughout the mouth. Not bad. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 22, 2009 Golden pour with thin, brief white head. Aroma of toasted malt, lawn mower clippings, and playgound wood chips. Flavor is mostly yeasty with some bitter fruits, and doughy malt notes. Some dry, grassy hops. Maybe some pepper. Medium bodied, oily mouthfeel with medium carbonation. FInish is slightly spicey. Nothing to see here, folks. Keep on moving. ljay6880 (163), , Pennsylvania, USA

Nose is Belgian yeast, spices, and some kind of sweet fruit. It could be peaches or bananas, but I can’t really pick it out exactly. Taste is yeast, grass, and pine. The beer is quite crisp also. This would be a good hot weather beer. potbeercollege (430), Boulder, Colorado, USA

Nuttiness remains in flavor along with notes of bitter hops that stays through finish. beernovice39 (313), South Carolina, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 21, 2007 Bomber. Light straw color with a fizzy slowly diminishing white head. There is a nice continuance of champagne like bubbles that saves the appearance, somewhat. Sweet doughy malts, some light candi, touch of must, hint of honey, and mild sweet herb aromas. A fairly typical golden/belgian ale sniff. Very sweet, with clove honey, candi, thistle blossoms, apples, pears and pineapple all showing a presence in the early stages. Lightly acidic that help push some of the sweetness aside. I seem to catch some saaz and noble hops. as it has some light grass and herbal qualities in the finish. Linger is semi-dry with some raw grains and a sweet roll thought crosses my mind. Some hints of metal here and there. I have had worse belgian/golden ales and several coming from Belgium. A relatively simple ale. bierkoning (6100), La Tropica, Netherlands
