Aroma was yeasty with hints of fruit and some hops. Flavor was yeast, spice and some citrus. Rather hoppy for a Blegian style but it was a nice change of pace. jredmond (1068), New Jersey, USA

Aroma has fine floral hops and fruit. Flavor is a fine mixture of belgian style ale and american hops. The hops are in front, then there is yeast, malt and spices. Sweet and dry finish. Fizzy belgian carbonation, though not particularly dense. Flavor is full, but light -- very fruity, very belgan. Lots of estery flavors; bubblegum and banana, but well balanced. Quite drinkable, if this were a style I enjoyed. I could see this going down well with seafood or light cheese. VitaminR (443), Colorado, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 6, 2008 Honey, cinnamon, and lemony nose. Yellow-gold with a pearly haze, Medium head, decent lacing. Mild sweetness, surprising amount of bitterness, maybe a little too bitter? Tight effervescence, has a bright quality to it, finish is mellow with a satisfying alcohol burn. Interesting beer, much hoppier than expected, but after getting past that it is a pretty good beer. syton98 (44), USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 15, 2009 Pours a nice golden colore without a lot ogoes awayf head. What head there is quickly goes away. However, the flavor is stronger than the color would suggest. The spiceness of the hops and even the yeast last on the palet nicely. A very nice beer to enjoy.
